Description

We assume that all foams, as all plastics, can be recycled and must go in the yellow bin. Foams that are commonly used for packaging are cross-linked foams (cross-linking is a reaction between polymer chains to link them together and this process gives the foam a better sealing properties, greater flexibility, insulation capacity and cell homogeneity and durability).

Non-crosslinked foams have an easier recycling process: ECO S33 (black and white) and ECO RCL foams (the also contains 65% of recycled material).

We also have foams of vegetable origin: the properties of foams made from biopolymer resins are the same as those made from plastics of fossil origin.

In our catalogue we have foams that are 100% sugar cane (LJ35 BIO in black, natural and green colors and LJ45 BIO in deep black) and the BIO PT foams made from forest residues. BIO PT foams have the ISCC (International Certification Sustainability & Carbon Certification), which is an organization that certifies the plant origin of biopolymers and their correct traceability through supply chains.
