RAJA® Packaging completes the acquisition of the French distributor Retif. This operation will allow the company to expand its portfolio of retail clients in seven European countries and provide a complementary network of physical stores that offer local services to customers.
In addition, thanks to the integration, Retif will be able to offer a wider range of commercial solutions and supplies, while benefiting from economies of scale and the experience of the leading packaging distributor to support its growth.
Founded in 1965, Retif is specialized in supplies, equipment and solutions for retail. In 2023, it had a turnover of 121 million euros and currently has 460 professionals in its team. Headquartered in Nice, its portfolio is made up of more than 300,000 clients and its largest source of income comes from its 88 stores in Europe, of which 66 are in France, 15 in Spain, 5 in Belgium, one in Luxembourg and one in the Netherlands.
Online retail, which already represents a significant part of Retif’s sales, offers strong growth potential. Not surprisingly, the French company has an 18,000 m² distribution centre in Valence, in the south of France, which delivers to customers in the country within 24/48 hours.
