In 2023, the Circular Seas programme, led by Coca-Cola, reached a new milestone in its commitment to environmental protection and the circular economy.
Coca-Cola’s Clean Up and Awareness Initiative
The initiative managed to collect more than 418 tons of waste in aquatic areas, exceeding the previous year’s amount by 25%. This achievement was possible thanks to the active participation of more than 10,600 volunteers and fishermen’s guilds in 175 clean-up actions on beaches, marine reserves and protected natural spaces, including eight underwater interventions.
