Madrid, 17 October 2024 – Cartonplast Ibérica, a pioneering company in the management of reusable transport packaging reusable transport packaging, announces that it has received the Liderpack Award for the Best Packaging in Packaging for Logistics and Distribution with its innovative recycled and reusable plastic pallet (Iberian Model).
This innovative pallet, designed for the transport of glass bottles and jars, is made of 50% recycled polypropylene. Its light weight and high resistance
more efficient than the usual wooden pallets. In addition, it allows logistics
sector to improve their environmental impact, as not only does it have a longer life cycle – up to 150 years – but it also has a 100% recyclable. The Cartonplast plastic pallets, which are already being used under a pooling model by various companies throughout Europe, also incorporate an RFID system that improves traceability.
Cartonplast’s solution has been recognised among the 146 entries submitted to the 2024 edition of the event, organised by the Spanish Packaging Association of Graphispack and together with the Hispack show at Fira de Barcelona. Thanks to this award, the
company, along with the other 24 winning companies, now has the opportunity to represent Spain at the prestigious WorldStar for Packaging Awards, in which packaging from more than 35 countries competes.

The development of the plastic pallet by Cartonplast has taken into account the specific technical and dimensional requirements of the glass sector. This innovative
